Donation Requests

Baytex strongly believes that we have a responsibility to the communities in which we live and operate, and supports a variety of organizations and events. We receive hundreds of requests each year, and unfortunately cannot support every request we receive. To manage our contributions and provide support to as many worthy causes as possible, Baytex has developed the following guidelines.

Eligibility Guidelines

Baytex supports not-for-profit organizations that meet a compelling need within a community in which Baytex has a business presence and employee base.

Applications must include the following information:

• National, provincial, or local affiliations.
• Charitable registered number.
• A brief history of the organization, its purpose, the significance of its work.
• Who benefits from it and the geographic area it serves.
• Description of the specific project or program for which funding is sought.
• Description of what the funds raised will be used for.
• If the donation is to be used at an event, the expected attendance of the event.
• Name of the closest city Baytex operates in.

Due to the volume of requests we receive, we unfortunately cannot accept any phone solicitation. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks to process your request. We will respond to all requests by return email or letter.

Advertising

Advertising proposals and opportunities may be emailed to ads [at] baytex [dot] ab.ca or sent by fax, Attention: Office Manager, (587) 952-3029. We have regular reviews of all materials and should the opportunity be suitable for us, we will contact you within 4-6 weeks. Should the opportunity not be suitable, we thank you for your interest in Baytex Energy Corp.
